i hate to sound like a jerk, but i have an idea.

we could start our own zombie thread, and if this one kicks off again (we wont exsactly be leavin this one) we can come back.

You'd have to talk to a moderator about that. They're kind of sensitive about zombie threads. If someone's going to start a zombie survival thread, they need to have a definite plot figured out. They don't want a bunch of "OMG ZOMBIES RUN" threads cropping up on their forum. It tends to clog up the works, especially since most of them just turn into a couple survivors roving around town blasting down zombies with no particular goals or plot to mention.

I'd be happy to help out with a story so just hit me up in PM, but we'd better have one planned out if we're going to go to a mod with it.

I agree with GE4R....I'd be up for another shot at a zombie story (seeing this one seems to be sinking into oblivion) ...but one with a plan or plot would be best. I've been on other sites where the "hey zombies" type stories ran rampant and killed over just as quick.

Alright, looks like the votes are in. I'll start working on a story-- I've already got a pretty good idea of where to go with this. If you've got any ideas or you'd like to see anything in particular put into the story PM it to me and we'll see if we can figure it in. If you want to be part of the thread, just PM me.

Hopefully we can get this thread up and running again, but if not we have our contingency.

I throughly enjoy me some zombie based threat BUT (yes the 'but' thing) i'm not sure if i'll be able to join. I've join quite a few threads and though most of the are pretty quiet, i'm just real afraid to start something and because of school/life have to pull out when it gets real good. I'll just have to see how busy i get and hopefully tell you soon.
